Stained Glass Gallery

I began work on this stained glass poppy picture about four years ago when teaching Kath, Jan and Jan's sister Barbara, how to do the stained glass technique but never got round to finishing my own piece.  I'm pleased in a way, as since then I have learned new techniques, embellishing and free motion quilting, and I also bought my wonderful Bernina sewing machine which helped me achieve perfect stitch tension for free motion work.    I couldn't find a fabric I liked enough for the usual binding so made the window borderless and love the simple effect.
