I inherited thousands of square feet of leather from my father when he retired from his business making high quality leather clothes several years ago, and brought it all to Spain with me when I moved, with good intentions of using it on various projects.  Here we are almost five years down the line, and I have used very little of it, my patchwork and other textile arts taking up my time.  I have decided to experiment, by incorporating the  fabric and leather together with embroidery, making small pieces of work.  This is my first, using a leather covered frame to support a leather based grid, embellished with honesty seeds from my old garden in the UK, behind patches of organza.  I realise sadly, I will never live long enough to use all the leather and I am currently looking  for a good home for it.  Anyone interested, please e-mail me.
