Mixed Media Screens Gallery


I made this screen for my Mum and Dad as a 60th wedding anniversary gift. This little A5-sized screen has been made using similar techniques to my mixed media journal cover, this time adding embroidered diamond (the theme being 60 years married) patches and embroidery stitches on richly painted, stitched backgrounds on one side, with a cooler feeling evening garden scene on the other. I so enjoyed making this I think this could be the beginning of a series of them!
