After 6 years studying for a City and Guilds Diploma in stitched textiles, I moved to Spain. This has now given me time to explore the use of the computer to digitize my own embroidery designs this process allows me to decide the placement of the stitches, type of stitches and colours, before the embroidery design is transferred to the sewing machine to be stitched out. This is a big learning curve, and I attend workshops on the web hosted by Trevor in Canada, ww.sunsetstitches.comI love this type of embroidery and it open up more possibilities for me.
