Hello, my name is Isy.

When I heard that there was a local stitching group held in Periana, a short distance from where I moved to from the UK I jumped at the chance of joining!.  What an opportunity for me!  Not only to develop new skills but a perfect way to make new friends!!.

I haven't been disappointed on either count as I have learnt so many new techniques, including patchwork and quilting techniques, applique and embroidery, and made many friends.  Between us we have so many inspirational ideas for new projects. I wish there where twice as many hours in each day!

As we all share similar interests including cross stitch, patchwork, beadwork, card-making etc, as a group we have gelled really quickly and look forward to new members joining us with avid curiosity to see what interests and abilities they have to share with us all. Out of these shared interests true friendships have been forged.
Tuesday's can’t come round quick enough for me, so eager am I to show my latest achievement to the group and to see what new challenges await us!
(I have to say it’s a great incentive, the wonderful homemade cakes that Jan very kindly made for us each week too!)
