Hello, my name is Cath.

I became a member of the Vinuela Sew and Sews group approximately 2 years ago after attending their first exhibition.

My previous sewing experience was in making clothes for the children and myself and house furnishings, curtains, etc.
I have also done knitting and cross stitch but had no experience of quilting. It is wonderful now to be able to sew for enjoyment rather than necessity and I am getting a lot of satisfaction making quilts, bags, boxes, etc. for my grandchildren and friends.

The regular workshops are a great way to learn new skills and techniques, and the more experienced group members are always ready to help and advise. There is so much to learn and I can’t wait to get on with each new project.

It is a real pleasure to be part of this group of talented and inspirational women.
