Annie has put in an enormous amount of work in embellishing this Laurel Birch panel with embroidery and sequins, all of it done by hand. The mermaid body is padded then densely covered with green sequins, and all the tiny dots of sea foam are hand stitched. It's a shame photographs do not show the detail so well. In my opinion it's gorgeous!
