Hello, my name is Ann.

Here is just a little bit about myself, I moved to Spain in Sept 2009 after marrying my husband Paul.   We first met 35yrs ago, and at Christmas 2006 he sent a chance Christmas card to the address he still had for me.  We started writing to each in Jan 2009 and he told me he now lived in Spain so I came over on holiday to see him.  We got married on Sept 4th at Chester Registry Office, then went on a 13-day cruise around the Greek Islands, Rome, Turkey, and Naples, it was superb!  We saw no reason to wait longer to get married, at our age, who knows how much longer we have together.  Life is for living, so we are making the most of it!!

My first visit to Spain was Easter 2009.  I met some new people here and one of them, Linda Hood, introduced me to the sewing club in Vinuela, I seem to have gone back in time, I did a lot of sewing many years ago, but I am now sewing for pleasure and learning lots of different ideas and crafts I never had the time to do before, so I am looking forward to this year and the workshops we have planned at the group
