Christmas Lunch 2010

There was a lovely homely atmosphere at Meson Sara in Puente Don Manuel where thirty three group members met for the annual end of year lunchAs yet another year draws to a close for the Group we met for our annual end of year lunch on Tuesday afternoon, and despite awful wet and windy weather, thirty three ladies were able to get to the restaurant in Puente don Manuel. Everyone was in a festive mood and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely and cosy, with very tasty food, so much so that many have already suggested we meet in the same place again soon! We welcome back Wilma, who after spending last winter here in the seemingly never ending rain, said she would never come back again. I'm pleased she allowed her husband to encourage her to give it one more try. Its a shame the weather is unusually cold and wet again for her. (Maybe its not that unusual anymore to get these cold wet spells!) It was good to see Gill, who managed to get to the lunch too despite having surgery on her knee the previous week..
